3d Printing Meetup

FabSpace is happy to announce that we host a regular, monthly, 3D Printing Meetup. The meetup occurs the first Thursday of every month at 700 E. 4th St., Dayton, Ohio (the old Yellow Cab building, park in the parking lot behind the building and enter through the garage). Start time is 7pm. The next meetup will be held April 7th, 2016.

The goals of the meetup are simple, we want to get people with an interest in 3D printing together to benefit from each other’s knowledge and experience. We want to start building a community that will support the novice and expert user. 3D printers are exciting technology but they do have learning curves, both in construction and use – we hope a regular meetup will help reduce the learning curve for all involved.

The 3D printing meetup is open to everyone. If you have a printer we encourage you to bring it out and show it off, or at least bring samples of the work it produces. If you are thinking about getting a printer, or want to know more about the process, come and ask questions. If you aren’t sure what all the fuss is about, come see in a friendly environment!

Hope to see you all in September!
